How Can You Help?
To date, eighty-five generous people have donated over $100,000 to support the digitization and cataloging of the complete collection of 1,350 reel and cassette tapes, created by Dave Siglin of live performances at The Ark between 1969 and 2007. We are seeking continuing support to enable us to complete the complex and necessary work of obtaining permission from musical artists captured on the Siglin tape recordings. Your donation will support modest staff costs to administer our creative copyright permission process and to host the streaming of live performances through the internet. The work of our project is undertaken with great attention to detail by professional musicians, University of Michigan students, and highly skilled volunteers.
The Siglin Music Preservation Fund is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization formed to support the preservation of and access to the Dave Siglin tape recordings from The Ark. Your contributions are entirely tax deductible. 100% of donations made by Check go to the Siglin Music Preservation Fund.
We’re looking forward to your joining us in making a historic gift to benefit music lovers everywhere….and to help us spread the word by sharing this website to others who know and appreciate the legacy of the Ark.
Thank you so much!
